Membership of the Friends of Manor Farm Park costs only £5 a year. The 'membership year' runs from July to July and not, as one might expect, from January to December.

Members are actively encouraged to set up a Standing Order with their Bank or Building Society to have their annual subscription paid automatically from the begining of July. Membership Application Forms and Standing Order Instruction Forms are available from our Membership Secretary: This email address is being protected from spambots. Officially, the annual subscription falls due after Close of Business at the Annual General Meeting, traditionally convened during the second week in July. Everyone attending the AGM is greeted at the door where their name and attendance is recorded and current members can pay their subscription, non-members are asked if they would like to join: membership cards are issued for the coming year at this time.

Members who do not attend the AGM and have not arranged automatic subscription payments, as above, are reminded toward the end of August that their annual subscription, for the current year, is overdue. A second reminder is issued approximately four weeks later.

In addition to a seat and a vote at our AGM, subscribed members receive a regular newsletter, so they will always be up to date with what is happening in the park, general information about matters discussed by the Management Committee at monthly meetings is also incuded.

It is standard procedure to add all new members to our Google Group [GG]: shortly after joining FoMFP they receive an email of welcome from the GG with a copy of the most recent Newsletter. It should be noted, however, that it is not compulsery to remain a part of the GG; at the end of the welcome email there are instructions on how to use the GG and how to opt out of it, should one wish to do so; bearing in mind that the GG is used to keep members informed and up to date with what is happening in the park, we do not recommend such action.
